This section is designed to answer any common questions that may arise when
using the Web Page Creator FAQ'S
1) How do I sign up to the Marketplace?
Answer: Design and submit your Farm/Ranch/Company's Web Page using the Web Page Creator, and the Canadian Shorthorn Association will contact you within two business days, regarding your new
Web Page.
2) How long until I can have my page up and available on line?
Answer: Your page and all future changes to it requires the approval
of the Canadian Shorthorn Association. Once it has been reviewed and approved (or
declined) you will receive an e-mail notification of the status of your Web
Page.
3) How do I bold, italicize or underline text?
Answer: Click here to read about it in the Custom HTML Formatting
help section
4) How and where do I make changes to my Web Page?
Answer: Once your page has been authorized by the
Canadian Shorthorn Association, you will
receive an e-mail notification which will provide a hyperlink to the form
you will use to make changes. Bookmark this hyperlink or otherwise make note
of the address for future reference.
5) What does the error message "you cannot post" mean?
Answer: This means you can not have a space in the name of your page.
i.e., This is incorrect farm sale.html
This is correct farmsale.html
6) Does it cost anything to make changes to my Web
Page?
Answer: No, it will not cost you anything to make changes to your Web Page. You may update and change your information as many times as you want, free of charge. If you wish to have the changes made for you there will be charges incurred.
7) Can I add pictures to my Web Page?
Answer: Yes, you may add pictures to your Web Page such as a farm/company/company logo. To do this it is necessary you contact the Canadian Shorthorn Association and request permission to do so. There may be a small charge for this service.
8) What if I do not have an e-mail address?
Answer: The Marketplace works best if you have an e-mail address. Free e-mail addresses such as http://www.hotmail.com or http://mail.yahoo.com/ or http://home.netscape.com/ will work.
